Snack Smarter
Champ’s Launches with Labels Humans Actually Understand
Hi there, humans! Champ here—your go-to pup for honest treats and tail-wagging info.
Let’s talk labels. Not the itchy kind in collars—the ones on treat bags. Starting in 2030, pet food brands will be required to include a Nutrition Facts box, just like you see on your own snacks and food products. It’s part of a big move by AAFCO to make pet food labeling more transparent and helpful for the people who love us most (that’s you).
But here’s the thing: we didn’t wait until 2030. At Champ’s Pet Kitchen, we’re launching our line of lean protein dog treats with this new labeling—large and in charge—on the back of our packs from day one, so you’ll know exactly what you’re giving your dog.
Why It Matters
- Clear Nutrition Info, Right on the Bag
Our easy-to-read panel shows calories, protein, fat, fiber, and carbs per treat—so you’re not guessing what’s inside. - High-Quality Protein First
Every Champ’s treat starts with real, high-quality protein as the #1 ingredient. That’s what fuels our zoomies and helps support lean muscle. We even tell you the minimum % of protein in every flavor—because you deserve the facts. - Low in Fat, Big on Flavor
Champ’s are high in protein but low in fat, so you can treat your pup with confidence, and more
than just once a day! We’re here for the good stuff—no fillers, no junk. - Transparency Built In
We clearly state that our products are treats (not full meals), include ingredient names you recognize, and highlight exactly what these snacks are made for and the health benefit they supports – from bone and joint, to skin and coat, to gut health.
By launching with the future of labeling, Champ’s is putting pet parents first. After all, you shouldn’t need a PhD to figure out what you’re feeding your dog.
